Access statement for The Milking Barn Self-Catering Cottage

Introduction

Our 2 bed roomed recently renovated self catering cottage, is situated in the beautiful Corvedale a 10 minute drive from the medieval town of Ludlow and overlooked by the stunning Brown Clee Hills.We have tried to provide as much information as possible in this statement; if you have any queries do not hesitate to contact us.We look forward to welcoming you to The Milking Barn. 

Pre-Arrival

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

Car parking is provided in front of The Milking Barn.Parking is on pee gravel  

The Milking Barn

There is a step up to the French doors of the cottage which is 4 inches  high. A ramp can be placed in position if required although we do not advertise as disabled access.The front door opens into a large kitchen dinner area.All internal doors are a minimum of 29 inches wide. 

Kitchen & Dinning Room

The kitchen and dinning room are open plan there is an oblong dinning table with 6 chairs, the area between the dinning table and the kitchen is clear to obstructions.There is wooden level flooring in the kitchen and dinning room. 

Lounge

There are 2 double sofas and an armchair plus a double bed settee. All furniture is moveable there is a large wood burning stove with fire guard (logs are free) There is a new 26” flat screen TV/teletext/DVD player with Sky sat also available is a wide selection of modern DVD’s. 

Bedroom 1 master bedroom and en suite

Super king double bed provided winter and summer quilts available bed height is 1' 4" by 7' long by 6' wideThere is 1 large triple wardrobe and a 5 draw chest of draws plus 2 bedside cabinets.The en suite shower and toilet is modern and tiled the shower has a step up to it which is 10" high.The French doors from the master bedroom step down 10" high onto a covered decked area which over looks the paddock and swimming pool this is fenced and covered. 

Bedroom 2 twin room and en suite

2 single beds provided winter and summer quilts availableBed height is 1' 10" by 3' 4" by 6' 8"There is a double wardrobe and a 5 draw chest of draws.  The en suite shower and toilet is modern and tiled the shower has a step up to it which is 13 inches high.

Swimming Pool

The outdoor swimming pool is 4m wide 8m long 1.2m deep it is heated from mid June until mid September and is open from 09.00 until 19.00 daily. The pool automatically chlorinated and checked regularlyThe pool is unmanned and all children must be supervised at all times, there is an emergency life buoy available.

Other Milking Barn Policies

Smoking Policy

Milking Barn has a no smoking policy, smoking is aloud outside of the barn on the decked area cigarette bins are provided. 

Pets Policy

Although the owners of Milking Barn are fond of animals we do operate a strict no pet’s policy.  

Visitor Policy

Visitors are aloud to visit guests of the Milking Barn notification is required. 

Towel supply

Only hand towels are provide extra towels can be provided at an additional charge of £1.50 per towel. 

Washing machine

We do not have washing machine facilities but service washes can be arranged locally.
